<p>The battery test stand (1) has a test cell (3) in which a battery (2) to be tested is arranged. A holder (13) is arranged in the test cell and accommodates the battery. A regulating unit (4) is connected with the battery arranged in the holder. A sensor unit is provided for monitoring the battery and is connected with the regulating unit. A cooling device (7) is connected with the regulating unit and is designed to cool the battery in the test cell from outside in a risky situation.</p>
