The device (1) has an annular steel disk (40) made of a magnetizable material and cooperating with a permanent magnet device to generate an axial magnetic attractive force that is adjusted between the disk and permanent magnet device. The disk and permanent magnet device are movably arranged to each other in an installation position, and have surfaces lying together for adjusting preset haptics during actuation of a rotary head (10). The disk is attached at a stationary board (20), and the permanent magnet device is attached at the rotary head and is formed as a plastic-bonded composite part.
