PURPOSE: A device and method for a web service identifier of a digital content are provided to efficiently adjust changed information when a database structure or a business process are changed for providing nation R&D information service. CONSTITUTION: If identification information including an identifier metadata item of the identification system is adjusted, a service provider(110) amends a parameter. The service provider creates the WSDL(Web Service Description Language) by the readjusted parameter, a client source corresponding to the WSDL, and a client compressed file compressing the client source and calls a web service client. A service requestor(120) installs the client compression file and adjusts the source by receiving a call of the service provider.
