<p>Cylindrical mixing and crushing machine for the foundry industry consisting of a horizontal bowl with a centrally fixed rotating pillar to which are attached below their horizontal axes, via horizontal hinge conenctions, crusher elements, which by virtue of their mode of attachment apply increased weight to the charge as the centrifugal force increases on increasing the running speed of the machine. The arms to which the crushing elements are attached also carry levers which engage levers attached to the elements which limits their vertical downward movement so thatthey cannot touch the bottom of the bowl even when the mixer is empty.</p> |
