<p>Bearing for swing windows is obtained by making the insertion pocket on the frame-side bearing part in the shape of a shell open upward and towards the wing. The insertion part itself is a plastic bearing sleeve, pref. of nylon, formed like the shell and encloses the pivot. The shell is pref. semicylindrical and the sleeve cylindrical at least in its lower part. The action of the plastic on the metal pivot during turning has a breaking effect and prevents slamming of the window.</p> |
