PURPOSE: The vibration and the noise which generates when sliding the rack bar while the ball nut revolves are absorbed. The operation of the rack bar and ball nut can be smoothed and vibration and noise can be reduced. CONSTITUTION: A rack driven power assistance steering system comprises a ball nut(310), a bearing(355), a coupling ring(360), and an axial direction damper(370). While being combined to intermediation with the rack bar(140) and revolving ball, the ball nut slides the rack bar. It installs to the outer circumference of the ball nut and bearing supports rotation. The locking ring is combined between outer-race and rack housing(120) of bearing. The both sides of protrusion in the locking ring, protrusion is included to radial is combined with the axial direction damper. The axial direction damper comprises the side protrusion part which is perpendicularly projected to the middle axis direction of the rack bar while being combined in both sides of the locking ring. The side protrusion part is formed into the first side surface projection of number and the second side projection of number.
