Oven for conditioning pre-forms

The rotary-type oven (1) has a heating wheel (2), on which multiple heating modules (3) for heating preforms (5) are arranged. The heating module has a heating chamber (4) for irradiating the preforms with infrared radiation. The heating modules also have a holding device (7) for holding the preforms. A lifting device (9) is provided for raising or lowering the holding device or the heating chamber to change between a loading- or unloading position and an irradiating position.
