PURPOSE: Even when a portable device and a control unit can not communication with each other, a portable device for charge information display and a charge information display system are provided to display charge information based on prediction on the portable device. CONSTITUTION: A portable device(200) transmits a charge information request signal from a transmitting unit(21). A receiving unit(21) receives the charge information from a control unit(28). In case the transceiver can not receive the charge information from the control unit, a charge prediction information production unit produces prediction information about the charge state of a battery on the basis of the charge information of a memory unit(22). A display unit(23) displays the charge information of the memory unit.
