METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING JUMPER FOR SURFACE MOUNT DEVICES AND THE JUMPER MANUFACTURED BY THE METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a jumper for surface mounting and the jumper for surface mounting manufactured according to the same are provided to make a printed circuit board mount on a surface by connecting disparate wiring patterns to each other and electrifying the wiring patterns. CONSTITUTION: A contact unit(22) forms either a recess or a protrusion in parallel with a surface of a printed circuit board(30). The contact unit is contacted to a wiring pattern(32) when it mounts on a surface of the printed circuit board. The contact unit is bent and formed at both ends. Bridges(24,26) are separated from the printed circuit board when it mounts on the printed circuit board. The contact unit and the bridges are formed by pressing a phosphor bronze plate.
