<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide connector capable of aligning an optical waveguide with high accuracy, and also to provide an optical connection structure and a manufacturing method of an optical waveguide connector. <P>SOLUTION: The optical waveguide connector 1 is equipped with an optical waveguide 6 which includes an optical waveguide core 10, an optical waveguide clad 11 for covering the optical waveguide core 10, and a metallic layer 14 for holding these constituents, and with a ferrule body 5 on which the optical waveguide 6 is mounted.
