PURPOSE: A touch panel and a driving method thereof for arranging a pixel having a touch sensor in a matrix type are provided to supply the touch panel of high resolution by arranging a pixel having the touch sensor in the matrix type. CONSTITUTION: A panel includes a first and second substrates. Light sources supply the light of the different wavelength area from the first substrate to the panel. Pixels(104) are formed between the first and second substrates. A semiconductor film of an island shape included in a photo diode and a thin film transistor is formed by etching the semiconductor layer.
