<p>PURPOSE: A log data storage method for journaling an FAT file system is provided to enable rapid access to a log without influence on an existing FAT file system by recording log data on an empty sector of a reservation region. CONSTITUTION: An FAT(File Allocation Table) file system comprises a reservation region(110) for the future, an FAT region(120) managing clusters, and a data region(130) storing a directory and data. The FAT region includes first and second FAT regions, and log data are recorded on an empty sector of the reservation region. The sector of the reservation region is variably expanded.</p> |
