FIELD: agriculture. ^ SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to systems and methods of sampling of biological materials, such as seeds. Automated sampler for seeds comprises station of sampling, sampling facility for seeds in sampling station, conveyor for seeds for transportation of seeds from sampling station into compartment in tray for seeds, and conveyor for transportation of material, removed from seeds, into according compartment in tray for samples. Method includes feeding seeds individually into sampling station, sampling of seeds in sampling station, transportation of sample in compartment in tray for seeds and transportation of seeds into according compartment in tray for seeds.
