PURPOSE: An oil circuit for a continuously varying valve-timing-system of an engine is provided to shorten the supply route of retarding oil and to enhance the response performance since a leading oil path is connected to the cam shaft journal surface of a cylinder head directly from an oil control valve. CONSTITUTION: An oil circuit for a continuously varying valve-timing-system of an engine comprises a leading oil path(L1) and a retarding oil path(L2). The leading oil path is formed in a manner that one side of the cam shaft(105) journal surface on a cylinder head is connected from the inner oil control valve of the cylinder head(101). The retarding oil path is formed in a manner that one side of the contact surface of the cam cap(103) on the cylinder head is connected from the inner oil control valve of the cylinder head.
