VORTEX APPARATUS FOR COOLING LOOSE MATERIALS

FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to loose material cooling by ambient air and can be used in production of construction materials or in agriculture in cooling grain. Vortex apparatus comprises working chamber with its top part making 1/3 of its total height and representing truncated cone with apex angle equal to 60, while its bottom part represents paraboloid of revolution. Chamber bottom is caved inward the chamber and represents toroid surface with smoothly narrowing end. Apparatus incorporates top and bottom air feed manifolds, bottom manifold being communicated with gas feed device. Gas outlet is arranged on chamber axis, lower part of gas outlet representing a truncated cone. Unloading device represents a precipitation chamber. Surfaces of working chamber top and bottom and gas outlet surface represent intercommunicated cylinders and truncated cones that form swirlers. Chamber gas outlet cylinders are located at one level in symmetry about each other. ^ EFFECT: higher rate of cooling and efficient treatment. ^ 1 dwg
