PURPOSE: A light emitting device and a fabricating method thereof are provided to improve the light extraction efficiency by controlling the current flow efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure comprises a second conductive semiconductor layer(130), an active layer(120), and a first conductive semiconductor layer(110). A second electrode(150) comprises a conductive substrate including a protrusion on the bottom of the second conductive semiconductor layer. An insulating layer(140) is allowed between the protrusion and the light emitting structure of the conductive substrate. |
