FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking. Proposed method comprises producing article blank, fitting and clamping it on work center, working it on at least one side by miller along with profiling of worked surfaces by feeding the blank. Blank side surfaces are worked to produce ledge on one surface and mating slot on another surface. Blank side surfaces are worked so that to provide possibility of adjusting ledge and slot width, displacing them along blank height and possibility of working adjustable width blank by using adjustable device to clamp mill on spindle and adjustable mill blades. Each said surface, other than aforesaid, are worked by at least one mill equipped with one blade with two shaped cutting edges made axially symmetric and symmetric about blade fastening elements to allow using second shaped cutting edge on turning the blade through 180 in plan in blade plane about its axis of symmetry after first cutting edge gets blunted. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of woodworking. ^ 22 cl, 160 dwg, 2 tbl |
