DIGITAL RECORD SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING THE RESERVED PROGRAMS TO USER USING THE MULTICASTING AND THE METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A digital reservation recording system for providing a program to a user using the multicasting service and a method thereof are provided to increase the increasing receivers to network router and a tolerance range of a switch. CONSTITUTION: A digital reservation recording device manager(20) transmits a corresponding channel and program information to each of digital reservation recording device(30). The digital reservation recording device manager downloads broadcasting stream of storages by a user(10). An IGMP(Internet Group Management Protocol) is loaded in the each of digital reservation recording device. The digital reservation recording device receives the program of the corresponding channel. The digital reservation recording device transmits the broadcast stream to the stores in the multicasting type.
