PURPOSE: A steel pipe cutting apparatus is provided to reduce the time of cutting work by employing an automatic hydraulic cutting method. CONSTITUTION: A steel pipe cutting apparatus(100) comprises a rotary unit(110), a guide unit(120), a hydraulic unit(130), and a cutting unit(140). The rotary unit includes a housing(111) and a pair of rollers(112) which are rotated with a motor to rotate a steel pipe. The guide unit has a frame(121) and a hook(122) which is locked on a holding protrusion(115) to fix the frame to the housing. The hydraulic unit comprises a hydraulic cylinder(131), an oil tank for storing oil provided to the hydraulic cylinder, and a push bar(132) which supplies the oil from the oil tank to the hydraulic cylinder by vertical pumping. The cutting unit comprises a base plate(141), a cutter which contacts and cuts a steel pipe when the blade plate descends, and a contact bearing which presses the steel pipe downward by interlocking with the rotated steel pipe.
