PURPOSE: A device for detecting replacement time of an air filter for an air conditioner is provided to accurately detect replacement time of an air filter by detecting and analyzing temperature distribution of bypassed air. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting replacement time of an air filter for an air conditioner comprises a bypass passage(110), a temperature sensor array(120), and a controller(130). The bypass passage passes through the front and rear ends of an air filter mounting unit of an air duct and bypasses a part of air. The temperature sensor array is installed in the bypass passage and detects temperature distribution of air in the bypass passage. The controller detects replacement time of the air filter by analyzing the temperature distribution.
