ISLANDS IN A SEA TYPE FIBER AND ARTIFICIAL LEATHER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A sea island type fiber for obtaining the artificial leather of high elongation characteristic is provided to prevent the degradation of the intensity by supplying the artificial leather of high elongation characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A copolyester is fused in a PET(Polyethylene Terephtalate). The molten liquid of the sea component is prepared. Using the melting of the polyethylene terephthalate, the melt solution of the island type component is prepared. Using the melt solution of microfibrillation and melt solution of the island type composite, the filament obtains with the complex spinning. The tow focusing filament is extended. The crimp process operates the filament.
