PURPOSE: A groove producing device for brown rice is provided to secure the high processing yield of the brown rice by reducing the production of powder. CONSTITUTION: A groove producing device for brown rice produces a groove by putting a grain of brown rice on the surface of an elastic rubber layer supported with a hard material, and pressing the brown rice with another hard material. The groove producing device includes a lower roll(603) and an upper roll(604) formed inside a chamber for processing the brown rice.
