PURPOSE: A panel substrate transfer apparatus and a display panel assembly apparatus for efficiently assembling a module in the display panel apparatus are provided to simplify a structure due to location determination operation in a place of the rotation of the display panel substrate. CONSTITUTION: A non-processed area retaining unit maintains a display panel area of the opposite side of a display panel processing side(3). The non-processed area retaining unit has an arm structure from the upper side of the apparatus. The non-processed area retaining unit maintains a display panel lower area in order to keep the display panel lower area of the inner side than the holding position of processing side maintaining and fixing unit.
