A fuel injection control system used for internal combustion engines provided with electromagnetic fuel injectors, the said control system including electronic circuits to control the opening period of the injection valves so as to feed an appropriate amount of fuel to the engine according to peripheral conditions and characterized in that the said system includes means for stopping the supply of fuel to the cylinders during no-load driving and during braking with motor to thereby prevent the discharge of harmful exhaust gases.
