FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: threaded joint for steel pipes comprises nipple and coupling, every of which has threaded section and non-threaded section of metal-to-metal contact, serving as contact surfaces. Contact surfaces of at least one element out of nipple and coupling are coated with multilayer structure containing, starting from the bottom, the first layer made of the first metal or alloy, the second layer made of the second metal or alloy, which is softer than the first metal or alloy, and solid lubricant coating as the highest layer, containing lubricating powder in organic or inorganic binder. ^ EFFECT: superb resistance to metal abrasion, capability of corrosion prevention and air impermeability without application of compound lubricant. ^ 8 cl, 3 dwg |
