FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of recording and reading information for devices with electronic memory in which redundancy coding is used when recording information, first, information is addressed, where binary representation of the information in the electronic memory is obtained by bitwise modular addition of the binary representation which depends on the current address of the responsible information and the forming mask. Further, together with the addresses formed through the forming mask, the forming mask is used in check algorithms during initial recording of information into memory and during subsequent reading of information from the memory. Recording of the rest of the information is carried out from memory addresses which remained free after entering responsible information. ^ EFFECT: more reliable recording and reading information using redundancy coding and reduced loss of hardware and software resources. ^ 3 cl, 1 dwg
