FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: fragmentation weapon comprises body and explosive shell from brisant explosive substance. External surface of body is arranged in the form of alternating sections with laser scribing of surface and sections without laser scribing. On sections with laser scribing of external surface of body, scribing is applied in the form of direct parallel lines along whole length of section along body generatrix. Ratio of length of laser scribing lines and distance between them should be within the limits of a/b=2Ç4, where: a - length of laser scribing line; b - distance between lines of laser scribing; distance between lines of laser scribing equals b ~ (1.0Ç1.5)0, where b - distance between lines of laser scribing; 0 - thickness of case wall. ^ EFFECT: increased probability of target destruction. ^ 1 cl, 2 dwg |
