FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: with the help of device for detection of hydrostatic pressure of fluid medium inside the pipeline, pressure is measured at the specified distance from axis of pipeline via certain intervals. All that makes it possible to calculate vertical angles of pipeline section and to build longitudinal profile of the line. ^ EFFECT: provision of hydrostatic pressure data to detect sensor embedding relative to fluid surface via certain distances in the whole length of investigated area of pipeline to build longitudinal profile. ^ 2 dwg
