A drum dehydrator consists of a meshed drum mounted on a shaft and a drive. The meshed drum is assembled from bars, which have trapezoidal cross-section and are located in parallel to the axis of drum, and by smaller side the trapezoids are turned outwards and form the outer surface of drum, on which a plate knife slides which is installed in such a manner that by the cutting surface it rests on not less than three bars, and the shaft itself is mounted on elastic supports. |
