PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a location based zone service are provided to supply a call service between subscribers located in a designated region and discount costs. CONSTITUTION: A T-MSC(Termination-Mobile Switching Center)(140) receives a location information request message of an MS(Mobile Station) 2(120) from an SCP(160). The T-MSC inquires location information of registered MS2. The T-MSC transmits the inquired location information to the SCP. When the location information of MS2 is unregistered, the T-MSC performs a paging process to MS2. The T-MSC obtains location information. The T-MSC transmits the obtained location information to the SCP.
