[Class 78 (i)] A storage container for material in the form of dust such as fuel for internal combustion engines comprises also a discharge funnel along the surface of which compressed air is blown and a drop conduit to which the funnel leads. The discharge funnel is formed of overlapping frustro-conical rings O each comprising an annular chamber R with entrance and discharge apertures F and B respectively, the latter pointing in a direction along the conical surface of the funnel towards the drop conduit P so that a continuous current of air tends to blow the material towards the conduit. The funnel is surrounded by a jacket enclosing a space to which the compressed air is led through an opening E. The upper end of the drop conduit is perforated at I and surrounded by a jacket to which compressed air may also be supplied so that an upwardly directed stream of compressed air prevents the material from caking.
