METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF NEUROGENOUS OSTEOARTHROPATHY OF FOOT

A method for the surgical treatment of the neurogenous osteoarthropathy of the foot comprises the cut of the soft tissues, the removal of the articular surfaces of talus and tibia. Para-articular ossificates are removed, the wedge-shaped resection is performed on the top of deformity. The foot is positioned in the way where the longitudinal axis of talus coincides with the longitudinal axis of the first metatarsus. Tibia, talus and calcaneal bone as well as tarsal bones are fixed in sagittal plane proximally and distally with two pairs of screws.
