The arrangement has an intake path (20) for receiving cold fluid i.e. fresh air, and an exhaust gas recirculation path (30) for receiving hot fluid i.e. exhaust gas. A converging conduit (25) and a divergent conduit (26) connect the recirculation path to the intake path to position an outlet orifice (23) of the converging conduit upstream of and near an outlet orifice (24) of the divergent conduit such that the hot fluid from the convergent conduit generates a turbulence zone favoring mixing of the hot fluid from the divergent conduit. The paths are connected upstream of a compressor. An independent claim is also included for a method for mixing two fluids for a drive train of a motor vehicle.
