IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND OPERATING METHOD FOR THE SAME

PURPOSE: An image display device and an operating method for the same are provided to variously divide a display region by using a space remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A control unit displays a first image(S400). Through the signal of a space remote controller, the control unit selects a PIP(Picture In Picture) generation menu(S405). A pointing signal is inputted from the space remote controller(S410). If a display region can be divided through a coordinate corresponding to the pointing signal, the control unit divides the display region(S415,S420). The control unit respectively displays the first image and a new second image on the divided regions(S425).
