PURPOSE: A linear bush is provided to extend the lifespan of a retainer by enhancing the abrasion resistance of a retainer, since if a roller makes wide surface contact between a shaft and an outer tub, there is little bias on a sliding unit even if shock is applied from the outside. CONSTITUTION: A linear bush comprises a shaft(110), a retainer(120), a sliding unit and an outer tub(140). The shaft is formed from a metal material has a long circular rod shape. The retainer is inserted into the shaft. The retainer has a wave shape by the repetitive forming of a protruded surface(121) and a recessed surface(122) and a plurality of grooves(123) are formed over the protruded and recessed surfaces along the progressing direction of the shaft. For the retainer, the half of the groove, which is located on the protruded surface, is formed by a first track(123a) with a closed bottom, and the other half of the groove, which is located on the recessed surface, is formed by a second track(123b), of which surface entrance and the bottom are open. |
