<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-durability polarizing plate 10, which includes a polarizer 1 that will not break, even by sudden temperature change and having a transparent protective layer 2 formed on its one side and an adhesive layer 6 formed on its the other side, and is stuck and used to an image display element 20 via the adhesive layer 6. <P>SOLUTION: The transparent protective layer is formed on one side of the polarizer formed of a polyvinyl alcohol resin film; while on the other side of the polarizer, the adhesive layer is formed or an adhesive layer, a transparent polymer film and the adhesive layer are formed, in this order. After being cut into a desired shape, the polarizing plate is used by being stuck to the image display element via the outermost side adhesive layer; and the polarizing plate is cut into the desired shape by laser beams with a wavelength of 9.4 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
