<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machine wherein the damage of a shielding member can be prevented by shielding a laser by the deformation of the shielding member. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machine is provided with an optical sensor 20 detecting the shielding caused by the deformation of the shielding member 1 of light going from either edge part to the other edge part in the shielding member 1 along the shielding member 1. The optical sensor 20 is equipped with: a mirror 22 provided at a moving laser beam machining head 10; and an optical sensor body 21 provided at a fixing support part 8 fixing the base end side of the shielding member 1. The optical sensor body 21 is a reflection type provided with: a light emitting element; and a light receiving element. When the shielding member 1 is deformed, the beam 25 of light is shielded by the shielding member 1, and, before the deformed shielding member 1 shields a laser beam 9 transmitted inside the shielding member 1, based on the shielding of thee beam 25 of the light by the optical sensor 20, the laser beam 9 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
