PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common query graph pattern generation device, a common query graph pattern generation method, and a program for common query graph pattern generation which can generate a query graph pattern for efficiently acquiring meaningful information relevant to information such as a user-inputted keyword or a concept and having a structure with common implications from among graph structure data. SOLUTION: The common query graph pattern generation device includes an input unit 31 for inputting user-inputted information for restricting the number of intermediate nodes as nodes existing between a node connected to an arc having the same label as the user-inputted keyword and a node as an instance of the user-inputted concept out of a retrieval query graph pattern, when retrieving information that a query graph pattern matches out of a large amount of data having a graph structure, and a retrieval query graph pattern generation unit 321 for generating a query graph pattern based on the inputted information for restricting the number of intermediate nodes.
