PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly set a destination even when an error occurs in a part of search information recognized from image data of a printed matter. SOLUTION: A navigation device for performing route search processing from a start point to a destination using address database storing address information acquires image information, extracts a character string from the acquired image information, extracts multiple kinds of search keys for searching the address of the destination from the character string using the address database, and searches addresses corresponding to the search keys as candidate addresses of the destination from the address database. When multiple candidate addresses are searched, a candidate address is selected based on a comparison result of the multiple candidate addresses so that a candidate address of the destination is output.
