PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of a scroll compressor by stabilizing the pressure of a back pressure chamber provided on the back surface of a scroll member to thereby reduce the fluctuation of a biasing force for biasing one scroll member to the other scroll member. SOLUTION: A compression chamber-side communicating port of a back pressure communicating passage is provided in a position of the tooth bottom of one scroll member such that it faces compression chambers of both systems, and has a tooth shape such that the compression of the compression chamber formed by the inner line of the scroll member including the compression chamber-side communicating port is preferentially started. According to this, the pressure fluctuation width of the compression chambers communicating with the compression chamber-side communicating port is reduced, and the fluctuation width of back pressure associated therewith is also reduced. Since deformation fluctuation of the scroll members is suppressed by this suppression of back pressure fluctuation, the overall heat-insulating efficiency can be improved by reduction in leak loss by improvement in sealing property in a gap between both the scroll members and reduction in friction loss by suppression of mutual interference thereof allows improvement.
