There is provided a container which allows a cap to be mounted and the container to be transported even when a protrusion or the like used for rotating the container is provided below a projecting portion. The container 20 is provided with a second projecting portion 26, having a similar shape to a first projecting portion 24 and formed separately from the first projecting portion 24, below a first protrusion 241, a second protrusion 242, a third protrusion 243, a fourth protrusion 244 and a fifth protrusion 245. As mentioned in addition, the second projecting portion 26 provided along the circumferential direction of the container body 21 and annularly formed is provided at an upper part of the container body 21 and below a region where the convex portion 25 or the first to fifth protrusions 241 to 245 are provided.
