<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity sales data processor capable of easily determining whether a store has fulfilled obligation of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law when a customer purchases an OTC (Over the Counter) drug and of preventing trouble between the customer and the store. <P>SOLUTION: The commodity sales data processor for performing sales processing of a commodity purchased by a customer and issuing a receipt on which information on the sales-processed commodity is printed, determines whether a customer signature is needed upon purchasing from a predetermined commodity category assigned to the sales-processed commodity; creates print data of the receipt capable of distinguishing between a commodity determined necessary for a signature and a commodity determined unnecessary for a signature; and prints the created print data on the a receipt with a customer signature field printed thereon and issues the receipt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
