<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin mold assembly which has high sticking characteristics by using a laser beam and is excellent in appearance and includes a welding section with high connection strength. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the resin mold assembly, a welding section of a light-transmitting resin member and a corresponding welding section of a light-absorbing resin member are oppositely arranged, and are kept at a pressurized state. The laser beam is incident from the light-transmitting resin member, and repetitively irradiated on the same welding line in the welding section.
