<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument illuminating device which illuminates and displays a pointer and the index mark portion of a display panel with a sufficient brightness. <P>SOLUTION: The instrument housing 8 in the instrument illuminating device includes a light guiding cylindrical part 81 for guiding light from a light source 7 to the base 42 side of the pointer 4, a light guide opening 82 provided between the lower end part of the light guiding cylindrical part 81 and a circuit board 1, a rising reflecting peripheral wall 83 which surrounds the circumference of the light guiding opening 82 and is provided having a predetermined interval from the light source 7, a first reflecting wall 85 provided to illuminate the index mark 5 area of the display panel 6 continuously from the upper end side end of the rising reflecting peripheral wall 83 with transmitted light, and a second reflecting wall 86 in a substantially inverse conical shape provided at the peripheral part of the light guiding cylindrical part 81 to reflect and guide light to the first reflecting wall 85. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
