PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a transmission torque variation in a planetary roller mechanism for supporting a ring roller by a support member via a buffer member. SOLUTION: In the number P of pinion rollers 23 juxtaposed along the peripheral direction and the number F of elastic deformation members 25 juxtaposed along the peripheral direction, P≠F/k and P≠k×F are realized to optional 1 or more of integer k, and 2 or more of common divisor also exists in P and F. Thus, even if the relative positional relationship is changed between the respective pinion rollers 23 and the respective elastic deformation members 25 in the peripheral direction, both the scalar sum and the vector sum of deformation force acting on the respective elastic deformation members 25 are not varied.
