PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device, capable of surely performing purge at a bare purge opportunity while allowing efficient purge of fuel vapor by appropriate detection of fuel vapor concentration, and also detecting damage on a purge passage or the like. SOLUTION: The engine control device is configured to execute cutoff pressure measurement processing, air pressure measurement processing and fuel vapor pressure measurement processing to a fuel vapor concentration measuring device; to calculate a fuel vapor concentration based on results thereof; to execute, upon establishment of a purge execution condition, first purge control processing to perform purge in a purge quantity based on the fuel vapor concentration; and to execute, upon establishment of the purge execution condition before completion of the fuel vapor pressure measurement processing, second purge control processing to adjust the purge quantity based on an output of an air-fuel sensor.
