PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage by maintaining suitable attitude by a route switching member (flap) even in the state in which a dual-surface unit is removed from a body of a recording device. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 1 detachably includes the dual-surface unit 4 including the first paper conveying route R1 for curving and reversing the paper P on the device body. The dual-surface unit 4 includes a second flap 41 for forming a second paper conveying route (straight route) in the attachment state to the printer device body. The second flap 41 shuts off the second paper conveying route in ascending attitude, guides the paper P to the first paper conveying route R1, and releases the second paper conveying route at descending attitude. In the second flap 41, its attitude is drive-controlled by a motor 49 provided at a side of the dual-surface unit 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
