PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode unit which is credibly fixed to the heart in a short time. SOLUTION: The electrode unit 2 comprises an electrode 11 having a sheet form which is installed on the pericardial membrane H2 to apply electric energy to the pericardial membrane and an insulating member 12 which covers one surface of the electrode 11 while exposing a main surface 11a on the other side. The insulating member 12 has a through-hole 14 which penetrates in the thickness direction of the electrode 11 and is capable of sucking in the pericardial membrane H2 at a position where the electrode 11 does not overlap.
