<p>Disclosed is a base station apparatus which estimates whether or not terminal apparatuses camping in communication range of the base station apparatus exist at the edge of the communication range. The base station apparatus is provided with a receiving means for receiving, from the terminal apparatuses, transmission power information indicating the transmission power of the terminal apparatuses; a registering means for sequentially storing, in a storing means, the transmission power information received by the receiving means; a statistical processing means for calculating the statistics to be used in estimation of the terminal apparatuses present at the edge of the communication range, said transmission power information stored by the storing means being used for the statistical population; a candidate extracting means for extracting candidates of terminal apparatuses present at the edge of the communication range on the basis of the statistics calculated by the statistical processing means; and an estimating means for estimating the terminal apparatuses present at the edge of the communication range from among the candidates extracted by the candidate extracting means.</p> |
