<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermochromic color-memory microcapsule pigment capable of preventing browning (coloring) when formed into a decolored state after being left in a colored state for a long period, exhibiting clear color tone when colored and becoming colorless when discolored, and to provide a thermochromic color-memory liquid composition using the microcapsule pigment. <P>SOLUTION: The thermochromic color-memory microcapsule pigment includes a thermochromic color-memory composition comprising (i) an electron-donating and color-developing organic compound, (ii) a compound represented by formula (1) as an electron-accepting compound, (iii) a reaction medium controlling the color reaction of the components (i) and (ii). In the formula, X, Y and Z are each hydrogen, 1-4C alkyl, phenyl, halogen or trifluoromethyl; R1 is hydrogen or 1-6C alkyl; and R2 is a 0-3C alkylene chain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
